ISKCON Sri Gokul Gaushala is the biggest and a well-known Sanatan temple of Lord Sri Sri Gaur Nitai in Amritsar.It was inaugurated on Nov. 2019 by his holliness Nava yogendra Swami ji Maharaj and his Grace Shyamanand Prabhu was taking all these seva . It is situated at Birbalpura fathegarh Churia Road Country side of Amritsar

Sri Gokul Gaushala ISKCON, Asr is set upon four acres of prime land and a stone throw away from Birbalpura fathegarh churia Road,ASR . A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of ISKCON, inspired the construction of Varnashram Dharma Set up.

The presiding Deities at the temple are Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai.The Deities were personally installed by His Holiness Nava Yogendra Swami ji Maharaj who is Senior Most Disciple of his Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

In 2017 this land was acquired by ISKCON Amritsar then construction started from the end of 2018. On the aspicious occacition of Sri Radha Ashtmi 2019 first time first seven cows arrived at Gaushala. And the formal Inauguration was done by his Holiness Nava Yogendra Swami Maharaj on 17th Nov. 2019 . On the special 125th birth annaversery of Srila Prabhupad in 2021 A beautiful temple was constructed within 125 days.On the 125th birhtday of Srila Pabhupad his Holiness Nava Yogendra Swami gifted this beautiful temple to Srila Prabhupad which was contructed within 125 days. Inaguration was on 28th Nov. 2021 . In 2022 to fulfill the desire of Srila Prabhupad free residential Gurukul was constructed namely Srila Prabupad Vedic Gurukul and inagurated with 28 students on 20th Nov. 2022.

Our Missions

HDG Srila Prabhupada began the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in New York City in 1966 with the following main purposes:

To systematically propagate spiritual knowledge to society at large and to educate all people in the techniques of spiritual life in order to check the imbalance of values in life and to achieve real unity and peace in the world.

To propagate a consciousness of Krishna (God), as it is revealed in the great scriptures of India, Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam.

To bring the members of the Society together with each other and nearer to Krishna, the prime entity, thus developing the idea within the members, and humanity at large, that each soul is part and parcel of the quality of Godhead (Krishna).

To teach and encourage the sankirtana movement, congregational chanting of the holy name of God, as revealed in the teachings of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

To erect for the members and for society at large a holy place of transcendental pastimes dedicated to the personality of Krishna.

To bring the members closer together for the purpose of teaching a simpler, natural way of life.

With a view towards achieving the aforementioned purposes, to publish and distribute periodicals, magazines, books and other writings.
